About Us

Dermatology of Eastern Idaho Building SignDermatology of Eastern Idaho was opened by Dr. Kay Bishop in 1994. We have resided in Rigby, Idaho since October of 2001. We have a highly trained office of professionals who love their jobs and have genuine concern for our patients and their quality of care. We deal with general dermatology, and surgical procedures, which include but are not limited to skin cancers, moles, lesions, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, rashes, warts and skin tags, and other skin problems. Our surgeries include but are not limited to removal of skin cancers, cysts, lipomas, scar revision, and Mohs Microscopic Surgery.

Kay Bishop, M.D.

Dr. Kay Bishop is a native of Rigby and enjoys living close to family and the scenic Tetons. She received her B.S. in microbiology with a minor in chemistry from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She earned her M.D. at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, and she performed her residency training at the University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals in Salt Lake City, Utah. From 1991 to 1994, she trained in dermatology at the Stanford University Program in Stanford, California. Dr. Bishop is affiliated with the American Medical Association, Idaho Medical Association, American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons.

Cameron French, PA-C

Cameron French graduated from Des Moines University in 2003. Prior to studying at P.A. school, he attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Cameron has been practicing dermatology in Rigby since 2003. During that time, Cameron has kept up to date on many continuing education classes. He is a member of the Idaho P.A. Dermatology Society, as well as the National P.A. Dermatology Society. Cameron grew up in Shelley, Idaho, just south of Idaho Falls. He moved to Rigby in 2003, when he started working for Dr. Bishop. He enjoys living here with his wife, Emily, and their three children, Kenadee, Zackery, and Gage. Cameron loves the outdoors, boating with his family, motor biking, and camping.
